Chinese officials are determined to make sure China, as the host country, wins the first gold of the Games. The women's 10m air rifle - which includes two Chinese medal favorites - has its final scheduled at 10:30 am on Aug 9 and should end about 20 minutes later.
If all goes as planned, either reigning gold medalist shooter Du Li or world champion Zhao Yinghui will raise 20xx's first gold at the Beijing Shooting Range.
But if Du and Zhao are too far behind in points going into the final, the rumor says, organizers will delay the last ten shots of the final while the weightlifting final goes on as planned so China can secure the gold.

今年暑假，我去了溧陽(yáng)的第29屆瘋狂英語(yǔ)夏令營(yíng)，在那里我快樂(lè)地度過(guò)了這短暫的12天。這是我第三次來(lái)，但是這次效果明顯不一樣！這次，我沒(méi)有浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。不像以前，騙老師說(shuō)肚子疼，去校醫(yī)辦公室休息。后來(lái)被校醫(yī)叫十二指腸，真的很氣人！但是，如果我不總是假裝肚子疼，我想我也不會(huì)被稱為十二指腸。總之，都是我的錯(cuò)。我覺(jué)得不應(yīng)該怪醫(yī)生。
夏令營(yíng)的時(shí)候，我發(fā)燒了。沒(méi)想到。我發(fā)燒了！自從上了初中，就沒(méi)發(fā)燒過(guò)。本來(lái)打算初中畢業(yè)就不發(fā)燒了。不發(fā)燒的事情就這樣斷了。真是不甘心！

He was a very likable chubby little thing, always on his feet climbing up and down, chasing after insects, birds, and me. I do not recall him ever having any white clothes since he started school. He was extremely untidy, He used to come home with a face of smudges, an inkspattered shirt, a pair of dirt-bedraggled pants. He did not care much for ready-made toys, and was very anxious to break them into bits, to satisfy his childish curiosity. But he treasured his sell-made toys, such as the slingshots which he used to break the glasses on the windows, and had receivedpunishments time and time again.

I grew up. When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a scientist. I believed that if I was a world-famous scientist, I would be noticed by people all over the world. I could do many good things for them.
Now I'm fifteen, I have my third illusion: I want to be a singer. Because I love singing. I love music. I even want to produce music myself. I also want to let the entire world hear my voice and my songs, though I'm not the best singer.
I know all these are just my illusions. Maybe they will never come true. But I'm still very happy because of my illusions.
